I got out of my bed and stood in front of the mirror, as I always do. I found a wonderful person with smiles. I just said to him, “I love you”. He blushed with a smile. I could feel an energy flowing inside me gripping every part of my body with a sense of goodness. May be, that is called energy of Love. The way to begin this beautiful day.
Life surmounts us with problems, which we are bound to face. Light and darkness are part of the nature, so it is in our life too. But, that doesn’t put us down, when one knows to face it. That reminds me of an incident what Swami Vivekananda had faced. Once a troop of monkeys surrounded Swami Vivekananda making him unable to move. He managed to run and to his disbelief even the monkeys ran after him. He fastened the speed and so did the monkeys. He couldn’t find a way to escape and continued running. An old monk called out to him and said, “Face the brutes!” And what happened later is a well-known part of the story. Swami Vivekananda stopped running, turned back and faced the monkeys for which the monkeys fled away. And hence proving that the best way to get out of fear was to face the fear itself.
The challenges keep coming to make us strong. Many a time, one gets disappointment as he understands that he is destined to face it all the time. That sucks our energy to be positive in our life, making us weak. Life has stored the best for us. It is who grabs it, gets it. So, what I need to do to get it. The simple truth is to face the challenges with a smile, as it was always found that it was not a mountain to climb, but just a simple mole.
Disappointments should not scale us down. Rather it should become stepping stones to climb for a brighter future. Many people surrounding us let us down, to avoid their failure or defend their mistakes. That keeps us wonder as to why “me”?. Such is the situations, where all of us grow with the instinct to survive among the fittest. Such instinct, can be achieved by demeaning the others or just merely evolving above them being a good human being. The latter is best and long lasting to take us through this life.
Let me make my ground rules clear to make this life journey comfortable to walk. Everyone are individual by themselves walking their own life path. Nobody can travel theirs, but for accompany them for some time. Every one, has his own belief system and mental conditioning and he acts as per that. As true human being, he is divine and connected to us. If this principle is understood, only love prevails among us keeping up the smile, a sign of positive connection to whom we come across.
You are the best, then let that smile be on your face always.
“Face the brutes.” That is a lesson for all life—face the terrible, face it boldly. Like the monkeys, the hardships of life fall back when we cease to flee before them. – Swami Vivekananda
