Humility is not thinking less of you, but thinking of yourself LESS. —C.S.Lewis
Humility is a virtue, keeping oneself in self -control. One, who is humble, is never proud but calm and meek. This quality at times, makes such a humble person look weak and they are underrated, as they are never stubborn but calm and soft. A humble person always respects others views and ready to learn from their experience, which is a mark of wisdom.
A humble person is never ready to blame others, or grow angry so easily. Such a person is ready to accept mistakes of his own and shows readiness for correction. Man is a filled pot with emotions like anger, pride, jealousy, calmness, kindness, confidence, sharing and caring.
Humbleness is one such quality, which brings in a sea change in the attitude of a person. When attitude is fine-tuned, the quality of person grows to its zenith, which leads to gentleness and kindness. Such a person is away from selfishness and being self-centred. Success never makes them proud. A humble person is filled with humanness, being kind is the nature of the person and not the weakness. Such a quality should never be given lesser importance. People with such quality, should be appreciated, understood and given greater recognition, where such people stand as an asset to the society. Our society becomes a Garden of Eden, crafted with such beautiful roses around. They become peace makers, for they may be called as children of God. Let’s learn to be humble at all times, to be God’s pet.
